Your Secret Place

There are places I return to in scripture that recenter my scattered senses and impart calm and peace to my soul. The 23rd Psalm is one of those places. It’s become a “tameion,” (Gk. Inner room, secret place) for me.
Before Jesus told us what to pray, He told us where to pray, “Go into your ‘tameion,’ and shut the door.” Do you have a tameion, a secret place in scripture that you return to when the clamor of the world overwhelms?
