Things come at you pretty fast in this world. News, information, misinformation, chatter, noise, gossip, negativity and slander roll over you like an avalanche screaming down a mountain.
In Paul’s encouraging letter to the fledgling church in Philippi, he gives sound instruction on keeping the clutter of the world at bay by filling their minds with things that are true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling and gracious.
What you think about most matters. You become what you behold. Garbage in, garbage out. Take God’s Word to heart, clear out the mental clutter, focus on what’s good and upright, and your spirit will begin to soar and thrive again. - Pastor Jimmy
