God’s desire is for us to be close. James reminds us that if we make a move and draw near to God, He will respond and draw near to us. There are conditions that we often ignore: clean hands and a pure heart.
Just before this verse, we are told to submit to God and resist the devil. God will meet you where you are, but He loves you too much to let you stay there. Today, let’s seek to please Him and draw near. - Pastor Jimmy
