The Invitation
As a disciple, I tend to speak in terms of knowing God’s heart. However, I don’t speak as often about inviting God to know my heart. Truthfully, there were times when I did not want anyone, especially God, to know what was in my heart or thought life.
David bravely issued an invitation to God to search, test, and know the deepest recesses of his life. He trusted that God would be gracious and merciful no matter what He found.
