The End is Near-er
My early days as a believer were tainted by a well-meaning coworker who was over the top on the end times, aka eschatology. He would not stop talking about it. He said, “No one knows the day or hour,” but he thought he cracked the code. It was damaging to me as a new Christian.
I began to grow in my understanding of scripture and embraced a healthier approach to studying and comprehending the Bible. As I read this passage today, the balance and clarity are apparent; The end of days is “near-er.” Be on guard! Be alert! Watch and pray. Be ready every day. - Pastor Jimmy
