To use an obvious pun, this verse blows my mind. This is not a flowery metaphor to make you feel good. You actually have the mind of Christ.
Your emotions can be subject to His emotions. I have prayed for this from time to time. Be careful what you ask for, because He will answer.
The next time your emotions are spinning out, pause and remind yourself that you hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of Jesus’ heart. - PJ
