The Daily Grind ☕️ - Would You Recognize Him?
On the heels of the loss of John, feeding a crowd, and walking on water, they land their boat at Gennesaret, and the people recognized Jesus.
They recognized Him because they knew Him, because Jesus’ home base was nearby Capernaum. However, there is more to the story.
They recognized His authority and believed He was from God. This drew them to come near, if only to touch the hem of His garment.
Would we recognize Jesus if He entered our churches today? Would we run to Him with joyful and confident expectation? I believe we would.
Would we press through the crowds to touch His garment? I have great faith that many would. I hear the rumblings of revival. Do you? - PJ
