Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote in his poignant book, The Cost of Discipleship, “When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.” I remember being deeply impacted many years ago, and it is just as powerful today.
Paul conveyed a similar message nearly two centuries earlier. It carries the tone of being fully committed to Jesus. This challenges me to pause and ask myself an honest question: “Am I all-in for Jesus?”
Jesus gave His life for you so that He could give His life to you, in order to live His life through you. Perhaps it’s time to ask yourself the same question: “Am I all-in for Jesus?” Pause, listen, and act. - Pastor Jimmy
