Somewhere along the way, we were told, “You have to make your own way, pull yourself up by your own bootstraps; if you don’t get it, someone else will.” It was a lie. We became self-promoters under false pretenses.
Maxim: The right thing at the wrong time is still the wrong thing.
God’s timing is perfect. The Bible tells us that humility is the pathway to genuine success. It’s countercultural. It’s revolutionary. “At the proper time” simply means in God’s time. Timing is everything. - Pastor Jimmy
