As Jesus begins to teach the message of the Kingdom of God, the people quickly realize this is no ordinary rabbi.
They were used to the weak, scholarly, and impotent teachings of the rabbis, but Jesus’ words were laced with authority and power.
Something was different. Jesus’ jurisdiction came from God and was released in and through Jesus to reveal the will and plan of God.
When we read God’s Word today, His authority is still present to bring the Kingdom of Heaven into this present moment. - Pastor Jimmy
