I see humor throughout the Bible - it’s just the way I’m wired. I’ve often said, “If God doesn’t have a sense of humor, I’m going to be in trouble.”
One of my favorite accounts in Acts is when Peter is preaching and the Holy Spirit just can’t wait any longer. He falls upon the Gentiles at Cornelius’ house.
The Holy Spirit literally interrupts Peter’s monologue and releases His gift to the hearers. That’s my Pentecost. If you look for it, you’ll notice multiple interruptions by God throughout the Bible.
It’s as if God says, “Pardon the interruption,” then proceeds to do His work. Let’s appreciate and celebrate when God interrupts our lives. - Pastor Jimmy
