Pursue love. The word pursue literally means to run swiftly as to chase after in order to overtake. It is intentional and purposeful. You don’t fall in love. You chase after it.
The context here is that of overtaking love in order to exercise the prophetic gift for the encouragement, exhortation, and comfort of those both in and out of the family of God. (Ref. v.3)
Ask, “How can I love others by encouraging, building up, and comforting those God will bring into my path?”
Pray, “Father, help me to keep my eyes wide open that I may see those who need Your love.” - Pastor Jimmy
