We know that words laced with God's anointing carry power, but this is not what he was speaking of in this passage. There were people in the church at Corinth who were boastful and arrogant, but their words were empty and void.
Paul sets the record straight with one potent statement: "The kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power." Ask the Holy Spirit to release grace (power, strength, ability) to demonstrate kingdom power through your actions, not just your words. - Pastor Jimmy
