The newly birthed Church had come together on the heels of Peter and John being jailed for healing a man in the name of Jesus. They were released, and the Church prayed for greater boldness and power.
And God heard their prayer. The next event that happened was the judgment of Ananias and Sapphira. The fear of the Lord fell upon them, and the apostles worked amazing miracles among the people.
They were “Believing Believers,” and God responded to their faith with supernatural demonstrations of power. They prayed, and God answered. Are we ready for a real spiritual awakening? - Pastor Jimmy
