As a child, I would follow my dad out into the field in the dead of winter to check on our horses. I had to walk in his steps to stay on the trail.
One misstep could send me tumbling into the mud. Following Jesus is much the same and we must carefully and mindfully walk in His steps.
We follow Jesus by keeping in lock-step with “the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” There’s no need to take a tumble off the trail. - PJ
