Still on the Throne
It’s easy to hear, read, and pontificate about the current events in our nation and feel like Chicken Little was right in his declaration, “The sky is falling! The sky is falling!”
Today’s reading reminds us that even during the flood—the total destruction of everything over the face of the earth—God remained on His throne, and He would bless His people with peace.
In the midst of the obvious media feeding frenzy, aka, this election year, remember that God has not given up on His plan; He has not capitulated to the Enemy and He is still seated on His throne. He’s got this, better yet, He’s got you!- Pastor Jimmy
