Stay on the Wheel
A trusted mentor spoke these profound words to Annette and I, “God is forming a man. God is forming a woman.” We were experiencing a painful and arduous ministry season. We were tired, hurt, and grieving from bone-jarring loss.
We were tempted to bail, jump ship, and simply walk away. Pastor Kevin’s words resounded in our hearts, and we made a defining decision, “We will never give up on our calling from God. Never.” We stayed on the wheel.
The rest of the story? We are now in the best ministry season of our lives; more fruit, more reach, more joy, more kingdom impact. If you are ready to quit, don’t. Stay on the wheel and experience the rest of His story. He’s forming you.
