Something beautiful happened to me during our sabbatical. I fell in love with my Bible all over again. Don’t misunderstand, I don’t mean I ever fell out of love; it's just that I had become dependent on digital devices, such as my computer, iPhone, and iPad.
I rediscovered the joy of holding my Bible, carrying it, turning its pages, searching it, reading it, meditating upon it, and cherishing it. I'm not knocking digital platforms, but there is something special about having "my" Bible in hand.
