David understood the value of beginning his day in prayer and communion with his Heavenly Father. I have learned to guard my mornings by praying through the Lord’s Model prayer before I check emails, social media, or the news, and by engaging in worship and journaling.
The Enemy will do all he can to derail you through any means possible. He is an opportunist. We must be vigilant in guarding and protecting our morning practice rhythms, like David, who said, 'In the morning I lay my requests before You.' - Pastor Jimmy
