Labor for the advancement of the Kingdom? Yes. Work as unto the Lord? Yes. Engage the culture and stand for biblical righteousness and justice? Absolutely. However, there comes a point where you need to come off the battle field, rest, recuperate, and be refreshed in the presence of your Heavenly Father.
Apparently Jesus did this often. If Jesus needed to do this often, what makes us think we don’t need to? Food for thought at the end of the week. How will you slip away and receive spiritual, mental, and physical rest? The world needs the best we have to give. Have a great day on purpose. - Pastor Jimmy
