Persistence in prayer is not most people's strong suit. This is not a personal slight, only the recognition that the last four years have thrown us into a state of cultural triage and recovery.
Living in a perpetual state of emergency and vigilance trains us to live in the moment, making the thought of doing anything long-term, disciplined, and consistent difficult to wrap our minds around.
Jesus reminds us that we are to 'Ask, and keep on asking. Seek, and keep on seeking. Knock, and keep on knocking.' Jesus is inviting us to persist and press in, and He will answer. - Pastor Jimmy
