Monday Momentum

God values hard work and skilled craftsmanship. Today’s Monday Momentum scripture reminds us that working “as unto the Lord” is yet another way to honor and glorify God.
Serving in the kitchen of a monastery for 50 years, the 17th-century Carmelite, Brother Lawrence, lived his life practicing the presence of God by honoring Him in everything he put his hands to.
How can you be mindful of honoring God in “whatever your hand finds to do” where you live, work, and play? By viewing the work of your hands as a vehicle for glorifying God, you will experience more joy, meaning, and purpose on the journey.
