Mind Wars

When we speak of the “Mind Wars” that we engage in as disciples of Jesus, the tendency is to speak in terms of what we personally face. While fulfilling his mission from the Father, Jesus, as the Son of Man, also faced his own mind wars.
As we enter Holy Week, we remember Jesus had to reconcile his own mind war regarding “the cup” he was asked to bear on behalf of the world. His response? To fall on his face and pray, “Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Jesus had his cup to bear. He reconciled the world to the Father and made a way where there was no way. In fact, he became “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Give thanks that Jesus won the Mind War for you. - Pastor Jimmy
