It’s interesting how Jesus has been portrayed in art and print. He looks more like the suffering servant than the One who was anointed with the oil of joy more than anyone else.
Jesus and joy are synonymous. Joy is the second fruit of the Spirit after love and before peace. Interesting placement in the list of the nine virtues of the Spirit’s presence.
If you are filled with the One who is anointed with the oil of joy, then you too are anointed with joy. Today, let your life reflect and radiate the fruit of joy. - Pastor Jimmy
