Liar Liar Pants on Fire
Fear is a liar that schemes to convince you, “It will never get better than this. The other shoe is about to drop. I don’t deserve this. I’m not going to make it. I’m going to lose everything.” The list goes on and on. Jesus shows up and blows fear out of the water with one statement.
Jesus offers peace in the midst of the ongoing assault that fear wages on your heart and mind. It is not a passive peace but an active peace that overcomes the storms of life. He reminds us, “In this world, you will have trouble, but take heart! I have overcome the world.” - Pastor Jimmy
