Keep the First the First
It's easy to think, “I know I’m justified by faith, but it's really more about my obedience to His commands, right?” The problem is, that is not what the Bible teaches. The peace of God that surpasses all understanding comes by faith. Period. Nothing more to add to be justified.
Is obedience vital to living a full and meaningful life in God? Of course, it is. However, we must get the order right. Faith first, then obedience, co-laboring, and cooperation will naturally flow out of that center. Have a fruitful day on purpose. - Pastor Jimmy
