There are some hard truths as followers of Jesus we must acknowledge. The culture will never embrace you as its own because you are not of this world.
You are a citizen of another kingdom. This is why you feel anxious and spun up by the moral landslides in politics, entertainment, and social media.
The call to follow Jesus is a call to die to self and let His life be your source for rising above the fray and noise of this world. It is only in letting go that you truly find the life you were created to live.
