We call it, "The Last Supper," and Jesus was teaching some of his most important lessons. It was like water bursting out of a fire hydrant. He knew there was much more to be said, but it was too much for them.
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come..." This is great news. Although Jesus knew His time with them and their capacity to hear was limited, He knew the gift of the Spirit would be given soon.
Now, the Holy Spirit has been given to us who have received Jesus as Savior and Lord! The Spirit of Truth continues to teach us all that we need to know in order to navigate this complex cultural landscape. - Pastor Jimmy
