Hungering for God
The word “Blessed” means happy or fortunate. Few things move the hand of God like spiritual hunger and thirst. God promises to fill and satisfy those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (to enjoy right standing with God).
Monday, our church is entering into a 5 day fast. It is not a hunger strike to get God to do something. It is not us trying to get more of God; it is God getting more of us. Feel free to join us. It’s a great way to kick off 2024 by drawing near to God. - Pastor Jimmy
