Hard Things
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" Today, Annette and I will pray at the bedside of a beautiful person who did not choose to enter the ring and engage in the fight of her life. Cancer has aggressively ravaged her body, and her faith will soon be sight.
Hard things. Things do not always go as planned. Life disrupts and derails our best-laid plans.
On the days that don’t feel like Friday afternoon, where do you turn for solace and peace? Hard things. This is when you turn and run to God and the life-giving words of scripture, even when everything in you wants to run away and nurse the pain of disillusionment. - Pastor Jimmy
