It’s tempting to get involved and tangled up with the things of this world and to engage in earthbound causes and agendas. There are many warnings in the Scriptures about the dangers of having our focus solely on this world.
The Bible is filled with exhortations to be focused on what is above, on what is to come, and the hope that is ours at the end of this life. We are to “seek those things which are above.”
As you step into another day, commit to keep your gaze away from the things of this world that so easily distract and stay focused on what ultimately matters and what is eternal in nature i.e. the King and his kingdom. - Pastor Jimmy
