Empowered
The distinctive purpose of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts is to empower the church as a whole and each follower of Jesus for ministry. It is good to be refreshed and renewed, once again, by receiving the fullness of who He is and what He does.
May we not relegate the power and presence of the Holy Spirit to a dramatic altar call or an emotional high. He is much more than that. He is the very presence of God and Jesus upon the earth and in every believer.
Today, pause and receive afresh and anew the outpouring and empowerment of the Holy Spirit to do all that He has uniquely and specifically called you to do.
