But If Not
When the signal came, the people bowed to the ground before the golden statue of the king, except for three young men. They did not rise to stand; they were already standing. While the rest cowered, they stood their ground.
The king was furious and threatened them with the loss of their lives, but they simply responded, "Our God will deliver us, O King, but if not..." They would willingly lay down their lives to honor God.
The king made good on his threat, and God delivered them out of the fire. We too must approach life with a "but if not" mentality. We will honor God regardless of outcomes. We too will stand. - Pastor Jimmy
