You know people who are at every place on the spectrum of life. Some are in the darkest places where pain and grief are familiar friends. Others are living their best life on the mountain top.
The Bible invites you to enter in to the emotional head and heart space of the people who are in your orbit. It’s not complicated. It is simply a willingness to feel and experience what others are going through.
As you navigate this new day, keep Paul’s admonition before you, “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” By doing so, you will embrace and express the grace gift of empathy and it will be a life-line of hope to those around you. - Pastor Jimmy
