Recently, Annette and I were in Dallas. She was attending a pastor’s wives retreat, I was meeting up with a pastor friend of mine from Gateway Church for dinner. Eddie found out that another pastor was in town and dining alone.
Eddie’s response was, “Oh no, no one eats alone on my watch.” In less than ten minutes all three of us were dining together, enjoying godly fellowship, and laughing over a great meal. There was a seat for everyone at Eddie’s table.
Today, as you engage your sphere of influence, is there a seat at your table for everyone? Culture will tell you, “No! You should be angry at this group or this person!” Scripture tells us to make room, because “we all belong to each other.” - Pastor Jimmy
