As much as my West Texas independent spirit wants to the believe I can do it all, I must surrender to the truth that I am not the source of “all things that pertain to life and godliness.”
God alone is my only Source for everything that pertains to living this life of faith. When I look to myself as my source, I come up short and quickly default to the old independent me. I’m still on the journey.
As you move into the weekend, take a moment to reflect on your desire to rely solely on the One who “has provided us with everything necessary for life and godliness.” - Pastor Jimmy
